Maggie is already 15 months old!!!
She had her check-up today and is doing excellent in all aspects of development...
- She has at least 10 words that we recognize and knows lots of animal sounds too (monkey, donkey, duck, lion, sheep, & puppy are the ones she knows best).
- She is a great walker and can do a pretty good fast walk too -- not quite a run though.
- She can scribble with a crayon -- when contained in her high chair and the paper is being held down.
- She drinks out of sippy cups and cups with straws -- feeding herself and using a regular cup are skills that she hasn't quite refined ;)
- She loves having books read to her and her job is to turn the pages -- she takes this job very seriously! Her favorite books these days are "I Love You Through and Through", "How Do I Love You?", "Pig-A-Boo", "Moo, Baa, La La La", and "The Going To Bed Book".
- She follows one step commands (like go to your room so we can change your diaper) pretty well and is working on some two step commands (like go to your room, and get...).
Here are her latest stats:
- Weight - 23 lbs, 1 oz (54%)
- Height - 32 inches (ready for this?... 90%)
- Head Circ. - 18 1/4 inches (65%)
Needless to say...she's doing great!!
