On December 19, 2010 at about 3:30 in the afternoon, one of my very best friends and mentor teacher lost her battle with cancer.
She is one of the most amazing people that I have ever met in my life. She is the reason that I am still teaching today.
I will miss her laughter, positivity, advise, knowledge of science and teaching (and most everything else), creativity, and I could keep going and going.
